Live Sketches
Oddly enough, sketching helps me retain information much more easily than most other methods. So, when I attend talks, I try to sketch out the presentations. Here are a couple of examples of live sketches I drew for talks I attended recently!
Digital Art
When I have more time to work on art, I like to use Procreate to draw semi-realistic portraits and drawings. I draw inspiration from Wlop, AndatSea (also known as Loika, or 3DaysMarch), awanqi, and others.
Art for Science
Since I like to combine my passions together, I like to produce art related to the science I do, as well!
This video, which I created in
collaboration with Aisulu Aitbekova and Lisa Dennison for BioX, won as top video for best storytelling (2020)!
